Bastila awoke covered in cold sweat, panting with dread, with terror; crying in shame. Outside her bedroom, the wilderness of Dantooine was still gripped firmly in the night's clutches, the cold light of the moon shining through the window and falling over her and her husband Calum, who lay asleep beside her. She wondered if he was sleeping peacefully, or if, like her, he was the helpless prisoner of a terrible memory.   
The simple house around her was a way's off from the wreckage of the Jedi Academy. She and Calum wanted nothing more to do with the Jedi, and had bought the house from one Ahlan Ma Evanescent by LZsays

It wasn't a beep, nor a buzz, nor an unholy blare of apocalyptic volume, just an infuriating, barely-audible tap-tap that woke him. Calum Jan's eyes cracked open as he was dragged from sweet unconsciousness by the remorseless, unidentified source of the abominable sound.   
He was too comfortable to wake up. Surely he could squeeze another ten, fifteen minutes of sleep out of the morning--after all, the sun was only just barely brightening the window. Welcome to the club dedicated to Star Wars Knights Of the Old Republic's incomparable male Revan character. We aim to be to go-to place for the perusing and enjoyment of everything that is great about this wonderful character given us by LucasArts and Bioware.

Enjoy the art, but remember that we shake fish (:shakefish:) at club-favers.

Okay, due to some valuable feedback from certain members (you know who you are!), I've decided to completely reset and restart this "contest" thing.

The first official contest will be... *drum-roll* I Survive!

Alright, guidelines!

This contest is about survival, if you couldn't tell from the theme title. What does this mean for you, the fabulous artist or budding novelist? It means you must draw, write, or otherwise depict our dear male Revan in either a survival situation, having survived something, reflecting upon said survival, or anything that may enter your mind based on this theme. (Editor's Note: The "I" in I Survive is included deliberately. This can mean whatever you want it to; don't neglect the identity.) Our submission rules ([link]) still apply, so please, no mature content.

The fabulous prize up for grabs is the Featured Deviation spot on our front page, guaranteed for two months, and credit on our front journal until the next contest.

The ID!!!

As I mentioned before, I am also putting up or deviantID space up for grabs. For this, we need some quintessential Revan awesomeness, preferably in a format at or under 420x600 pixels for the ID space. Again, no mature content, please.

Timeline

August 8 will be our deadline for submissions.

Voting

Voting will take place over the next two weeks following the conclusion of the submission period. I will ask for just one vote per person, please. Members and nonmembers may vote alike.

Well, you're the only one to actually express interest in it. There are a number of factors besides that make me reluctant: For one, about the only thing to put up for the winner is to feature the deviation on our profile page--that's about the limit of my resources. If there were a lot of inherent interest, we might get away with this, but in order to generate interest, there'd have to be some sort of desirable prize up for grabs, which we don't have.

If we wish to submit work, how do we include a thumbnail of it in a note? This may sound dumb but I can't find it in the help section.
